INSTALLATION OF OUR CHURCH OFFICIALS FOR 2016
Today we are installing all local church officials for 2016 during our Sunday morning worship service. If you were elected to serve our church as a chairman or a member of a committee, a Sunday school teacher, or in any other capacity in church leadership, you will be asked to take the mantle of office during worship this morning.
The Committee on Christian Outreach will meet on Tuesday, January 26, at 6PM in the church library. Members of this committee are: Joyce McCutcheon (Chair), Debby Campbell, Cora Criss, Janis Floyd, Dewey and Myra Hinson, Ashleigh Smith, Mary Kay Sloan, Jerry and Retha Tibbs, Judith Lindquist, and Gloria Jones.
The Committee on Pastor-Staff Relations will meet on Thursday, January 28, at 6PM in the church library. Members of this committee are: Billy Edwards (Chair), Deborah Baker, Kellie Spitzer, Retha Tibbs, Donna Inman, Kenneth Kistler, Glen Pancake, Mary Kay Sloan, Cindy Graves, and Camille Kelley.
The 2016 Administrative Board will meet Sunday, February 7, at 4:00 PM
in the Wesleyan Fellowship classroom.
We need church volunteers in the following areas: (1) drivers for the church van – you must have a valid TN driver’s license; (2) assistance with Sunday School for our Middle School – High School class on Sunday mornings; (3) assistance with loading and displaying our power-point presentation in worship; (4) bringing refreshments for children and youth on Wednesday afternoons. If you think you might be willing to help in any of these areas, please see the pastor.
